Visit Google Analytics
Sign in with your Google account.
Click on "Start measuring" and fill in your website details.
Select a data stream (Web, Android App, or iOS App) and follow the setup instructions.
After creating the account, navigate to Admin > Data Streams.
Select your website and copy the Measurement ID (e.g., G-XXXXXXXXXX) for GA4 or Tracking ID for Universal Analytics (e.g., UA-XXXXXXXX-X).
Using Manual Insertion
Copy the tracking code from the Google Analytics dashboard.
Paste it before the </head> tag on every page of your website.
Save and publish the changes.
Using Google Tag Manager
Create a Google Tag Manager account at tagmanager.google.com.
Add a new tag and select Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration.
Enter the Measurement ID.
Set the trigger to All Pages and publish the changes.
Using a CMS (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
WordPress: Install the Site Kit by Google plugin and connect it to your Google Analytics account.
Shopify: Go to Online Store > Preferences, paste the Measurement ID in the Google Analytics field, and save.
Go to Google Analytics > Realtime Reports.
Open your website in a new tab and perform an action.
If data appears in the report, the integration is successful.
